Grand opening of The Social Room
If you're looking for an exclusive place to hang out, The Social Room is your spot. But you better be prepared to pay for that private environment.
The Social Room is Columbus' first members-only bar, with a monthly fee required before you can get in the door. It costs $29.95 per month to become a member—couples can join for $39.95 a month.
The small club is situated next to Park Street Patio and Sugar Bar, so the location is perfect if you're looking for a quieter place to hang out between going to other packed bars in the Arena District. It's also nice for people-watching, as there's a small outdoor area upstairs that overlooks the gigantic patio next door at Park Street Patio.
The bar opened to the public Sept. 18, and for one night, you were allowed through the doors even if you didn't have a membership. Check out our photos from the opening-night party, and leave a comment below to let us know what you think about the idea of a private club in Columbus.
You can also check out photos from McFadden's Grand Re-Opening Party on campus, or shots from our huge New Year's Eve Party at Sugar Bar and Park Street Patio.
