The Beer Barrel Saloon on Put-In-Bay is renowned for it' Guinness World Record of longest bar in the world at 405-feet and 10-inches long. The saloon is festive and emits an island party atmosphere. Rebuilt after a fire destroyed the original colonial in 1988, the Barrel, as it is known locally, offers dozens of beers and tropical cocktails, as well as burgers, sandwiches and very good pizza. During the summer months, two to three bands play throughout the day to keep the party going.
