Tip Top, a whiskey bar that also boasts draught beers and comfort food, is a popular downtown haunt for 20-somethings – from the young professional to the indie individual. It’s a fun bar that obviously doesn’t take itself too seriously; the eclectic and retro-antique collectibles scattered about complement the sometimes sarcastic and funny quips within its food and drink menus. This is the birthplace of Ohio Nachos, a cheesy pile of house-made potato chips, and the home of the eggplant fries, which are served with ranch and a Bloody-Mary sauce. The outside dining area and large tables inside make it a perfect gathering place for friends.
