Gameshow Wednesday at James' Club 88
Inside: Gameshow Wednesdays at James' Club 88
James' Club 88 kicked off its first Gameshow Wednesday competition July 29 in front of a a pretty crowded house—especially considering it was a Wednesday.
Hosted by Studio Columbus, the event, which has a five-week run, features popular game shows from yesteryear. The show July 29 was "The Gong Show," a popular game show during the '70's that runs somewhat like "America's Got Talent," where contestants perform while three judges offer critiques and sound a large gong if they don't like the act.
Future Gameshow Wednesdays will feature "Family Feud," "The Newlywed Game," "Name that Tune" and "The Dating Game."
Wednesday nights at James Club 88 also include some pretty worthwhile specials, including $1 glasses of Blue Moon, $3 Vodka Whammys (a James' Club signature that's sinfully delicious), $9 pitchers of Mango Mai Tai, $3 Bacardi bombers and $5 bratwurst platters.
