The 2009 CD101 Summerfest at LC Pavilion
CD101 Summerfest
Any time the number of bands you get to see is higher than the number of dollars you spent for your ticket, you know you're getting a good deal.
The 2009 CD101 Summerfest show Aug. 22 at the LC Pavilion was one of those rare bargains, with seven bands on the bill and tickets priced at only $5. We're not talking about terrible bands thrown in just to fill out the bill—this year's show included six national acts and one local group that are all worth seeing live.
Considering all that information, it's no surprise the show sold out weeks in advance. We were one of those lucky enough to get in, and we caught all the action for you in case you missed it. Click through our photos to see shots of some of the people who attended, plus pictures of all seven bands—Matt and Kim, Black Joe Lewis and the Honey Bears, Band of Skulls, Living Things, Company of Thieves, Stellastarr and Envelope—performing live.
After you're done with these photos, take a look at some of our other recent concert galleries, featuring acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd, G. Love and Special Sauce, Incubus and The Offspring.
