Jingle Bell Run 2009
Jingle Bell Run 2009
Dedicated supporters of The Arthritis Foundation braved the frigid cold on Saturday, Dec. 5, for the 23rd annual Jingle Bell 5K Run. The event, which winds through the streets of downtown Columbus, raised more than $141,000 for the foundation.
More than 3,000 participants joined emcee Bob Nunnally (a meteorologist for the local NBC affiliate) and a host of mascots from the Columbus Crew, Clippers and even AEP. A few four-legged friends also attended and participated in the costume contest. Max & Erma’s warmed up the finish line with a chili buffet.
