Columbus Young Professionals' Toy Drive at Lodge Bar
The Young Professionals of Columbus teamed up with the Lodge Bar and The Columbus Firefighters for their 10th Annual Toy Drive on Friday, Dec. 11.
Local news anchors Monica Day and Bob Nunnally drew the winners of donated raffle items like a Jim Tressel autographed football package, Columbus Crew tickets, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame passes, flying lessons from Capital City Aviation and dancing lessons from Arthur Murray Dance Studios.
The talented duo Pegasus kept the crowd moving on the dance floor with their spin on popular requests.
With one of the best and longest happy hours in town—plus cheap Bucky Bowls and huge pizzas to share—the Lodge Bar was a great place to host the charitable event. The bar is also hosting an “Ugly Sweater Party” on Dec. 19, with $100 going to the person wearing the worst sweater. So check your closets to see if you have anything that might qualify.
