The Louie Vito Rail Jam at Mad River Mountain

The staff at Mad River Mountain made sure the slopes were slippery and the rails were hot for the 6th Annual Louie Vito Rail Jam on Saturday, Dec. 26. 

Vito is an Olympic snowboarder who was born and raised in Ohio. He's set to compete in the 2010 Olympics in Canada, and he also competed in the 2006 Games. Vito reached new fame as an athlete and celebrity with a recent appearance as a contestant on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars." 

The event at Mad River featured more than $20,000 in prizes and gifts from sponsors, with proceeds going to benefit local and national charities like HERO-USA.
