Super Bowl Sunday at Eddie George's Grille and Sushi Rock
Super Bowl Sunday at Eddie George's Grille and Sushi Rock
One is a campus sports bar named after a former Heisman Trophy winner and All-Pro NFL running back. The other is a sushi restaurant in the Short North.
Why did we go to both places Sunday? To prove you can have a great time watching the Super Bowl from pretty much anywhere.
We started at Eddie George's Grille 27, where football fans were enjoying some of the daily specials like 20-ounce draft beers for $2.25.
A few blocks south on High Street, people were enjoying the game at Sushi Rock. The restaurant was hosting a Super Sushi Bowl Party, featuring half-priced rolls, a complimentary buffet and drink specials.
Check out all our photos from both venues to see who was out and about during the Saints' first Super Bowl victory.
