The Starliner Diner, an out-of-sight diner and bar in Hilliard, has a menu as eclectic as the décor decking out this cosmic hub. American, Cuban, Italian and Mexican dishes are all served, along with an array of salads and sandwiches during lunch and dinner.

For breakfast, several traditional selections are offered, such as bacon and eggs, but many of the other options have a tantalizing twist and fusion of flavors that culminates in an out-of-this-world culinary creation. Several of the walls are masked in massive murals; a collection of clocks hangs in the diner, while a spaceship replica and disco balls hang from the ceiling. If it sounds like this establishment is all over the place, you're right. Yet the randomness comes together in a brilliantly beautiful way that meshes just right to create harmony out of chaos.
