Sci-Fi Movie Marathon at Drexel Theatres
Film buffs gathered at Drexel Movie Theatre on Saturday for the Annual Sci-Fi Marathon, which features 24 straight hours of science fiction films.
The event, which started at noon April 27, showcased a variety of sci-fi action, including some high-quality cinema (like "Moon" and "Ink") and some films that are a little more ... fun, such as "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah."
Just because we wanted to see what the event was like in the middle of the night, we stopped by at 5 a.m., after most of the participants had already been there for 17 hours. Click through the gallery to see who had the best marathon-survival techniques (i.e. coffee, blankets and someone to lean on), and who couldn't quite make it the whole night.
