With over 150 varieties of wine available, this establishment truly lives up to it's full name, Mezzo Italian Kitchen & Wine. Wines from around the world are offered including a diverse selection of Italian reds and whites hailing from the various and diverse wine-producing regions of this grape-friendly country. If you're not a huge wine buff, the staff is happy to offer suggestions as to which wine will pair well with your meal or your particular taste. More than 20 wines are available by the glass so you don't have to commit to drinking a whole bottle, unless you want to. The wine list is broken down into several categories: reds and whites available by the glass; champagne and sparkling selections; half bottles; Italian whites and reds based on the region they come from; and finally other whites and reds that range from Sauvignon Blanc to Merlot offerings.

In addition to enjoying a bottle of Von Wilhelm, Riesling with our dinner, we got started with a couple of the house martinis. We tried the lemoncini and bellinitini martinis, both of which were sweet and fruity, ideal for a warm spring evening. Since they have a full bar, any drink you desire can be mixed, shaken, stirred or poured, so feel free to let your gluttonous side do the ordering if you're not under the influence of Dionysus.
