Rachel Bilson shares some random thoughts as she poses for the April cover of Lucky mag.
On dating a co-star: "I just had absolutely no idea that all that — being on The O.C., dating Adam [Brody]—was going to end up being so invasive."
On the character she plays, Zoe Hart, on Hart of Dixie: "I don't mind being the center of attention as a character but in real life it's not for me. Zoe's from New York and very fashion-savvy. She wears shorts, a lot. It's her 'thing.' "
On her styling don'ts: "I like to be comfortable, and don't like to be cold, and I don't like to wear anything I'm not in the mood for."
On her favorite thing to wear: "I just really love being in my pajamas," Rachel says. "My mother just got me a pair of Miss Piggy pajamas, and I love them."
What will you never be photographed in? "I'm not a hater." But finally, she admits, "I don't like high-waisted skinny jeans."
What's your go-to outfit? "I seem to naturally go to neutrals, with a pop of color. I'm a really big accessories person. You wear a plain T-shirt and jeans and then do something really cool with the jeans or the amazing shoes, or a really cool scarf or belt or bag."
Do you have a pair of favorite shoes? "My Chanel boots are my favorite. They're so easy to wear with everything and make your feet feel so stylish."
Do you like nerd glasses on hot girls? "I think it totally depends on the person, if they can pull it off."
What's your go-to lip color? "Dr Pepper Lip Smacker has been my number-one since my early teens. I will never abandon my doctor!"
