Like the idea?

It's the buzz being circulated by E! News. The site says that Fox has been talking to Adam Lambert about being a judge for the new season.

Is there a vacant seat on the panel? Not necessarily. But none of the three judges - Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson - is a lock to return, says E!. (Tyler and Jackson signed on for "multiple" seasons in 2011.)

Exec Nigel Lythgoe told The Hollywood Reporter in May, when rumors first popped up that Lopez was unsure about returning, that ultimately "it's not about the judges, it's all about young talent."

And about Ryan Seacrest, of course. In April, he signed on for two more seasons as host of the hit show.
