Get ready for more Noah Wyle and more aliens.
TNT has renewed Falling Skies, the Steven Spielberg-produced sci fi show about human survivors living in an apocalyptic, post-alien attack world.
"With all the memorable and surprising moments taking place during the second season of Falling Skies, we can't wait to see what DreamWorks Television and Falling Skies' terrific production team and cast members have in store for season three," Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies, says in a statement.
Falling Skies (Sundays 9 p.m. ET/PT) has been a hit for TNT, averaging 5.9 million viewers and capturing the No. 1 spot on basic cable for the coveted demographic of adults ages 18 to 49.
Wyle, who is best known for his decade-long role as Dr. John Carter on ER, leads the cast, which also includes Moon Bloodgood and Will Patton.
