Country legend Glen Campbell is grounding himself, having canceled all of his upcoming tour dates in Australia and New Zealand, the Associated Press reports.
The 76-year-old singer, who has Alzheimer's, is simply not up for "the very long flight that it would require" to complete the international leg of his Goodbye Tour, his rep tells the AP.
Campbell's touring partner, Kenny Rogers, will complete the month-long tour, while local country stars will fill in for Campbell. The tour starts Aug. 10 in Christchurch, New Zealand.
