R-Patz, K-Stew latest: Who gets the dog?

Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart didn't have children. But they did have pets.

And now the latest, crazy breakup-related buzz o' the day is that the two "are embroiled in a bitter custody dispute."

A battle is said to be brewing over Bear, a mutt they rescued from a shelter in New Orleans while filming Breaking Dawn last year, according to Perez Hilton and RadarOnline. In February 2011, Pattinson talked about adopting the "puppy" because an actor's life can be a lonely one. He has mentioned that Bear sleeps with him. But Stewart has been spotted walking the dog.

K-Stew, the reports say, will keep her cat, Max. In 2010, she told People she was "obsessed" with him (he was 6 then) and was going to be "a crazy cat lady one day."
