Marvin Hamlisch visitation, funeral plans set

Visitation times and funeral service plans have just been announced for Marvin Hamlisch.

The prolific and beloved composer, who died in Los Angeles on Monday following a brief, undisclosed illness, will be remembered with a visitation and funeral service in New York City. The public is invited.

He is survived by Terre Blair, his wife of 25 years.

Visitation hours open to the public are 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, and 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday at the Frank E. Campbell funeral home, 1076 Madison Ave.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Temple Emanu-EL, 65th at 5th Avenue.
