If you scroll through Ryan Buell's Facebook page, you see message after message wishing him well, sending prayers his way, hoping his spirit is filled with light and more.

Buell, 30, star of A&E's series Paranormal State, is battling pancreatic cancer, People.com reports.

One of the notes from staffers at the Paranormal Research Society, which Buell founded, says that on July 13, Buell was taking time off "to focus on his treatments." The show ended last year, but Buell has been busy with the society.

On July 19, he was hospitalized for "kidney failure."

On July 25, a note that included Ryan's signature said he is "recovering slowly but surely."

On Saturday, Ryan wrote that he had been "in and out of hospital all week."

He says he's "able to walk now, for the most part, without my cane, and now we are preparing for the move to our new HQ city - Raleigh, NC."

He thanked fans and friends for their prayers. "There are days where I hardly have strength to move, but I sometimes hear chants in the back of my head; cheers, telling me to get up and rise. And that keeps me going every day! God bless you all!"
