Joe Simpson, father of Jessica and Ashlee, has been charged with two counts of drunken driving after his arrest earlier this month.
City attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan tells AP that Joe Simpson, 54, faces a maximum sentence of 6 months in jail, 36 months of probation and a $1,000 fine.
He was arrested Aug. 4 after registering a blood-alcohol level of .08% or above at a DUI checkpoint in the Sherman Oaks area. Simpson is due for arraignment Aug. 30 in a Van Nuys court.
