According to one unhappy mother of the bride, singer Taylor Swift doesn't understand the concept of unwanted guests.

It all started when Swift and her boyfriend, Conor Kennedy, showed up at the wedding of his relative Kyle Kennedy last Saturday, despite the fact that, according to the MOB, he failed to RSVP.

In an interview with the Boston Herald, Kyle's mother, Victoria Gifford Kennedy, says that even after she repeatedly asked Swift to leave to avoid detracting from her daughter's big day, the star just ignored her.

"(Swift and Conor) texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come," Vicki Kennedy tells the Herald. "I responded with a very clear, 'Please do not come.' They came anyway. ... I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me."

Swift's publicist, however, says it's all much ado about nothing and that Swift was invited to the wedding as Conor's date.

Swift has made short work of inserting herself into her boyfriend's famous family, buying a $5 million house across the street from Conor's grandmother's house last week and visiting his mother's grave with other family members on Sunday.
