'Silver Linings Playbook' wins Toronto's People's Choice

It's a good day for Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper.
Their next film, Silver Linings Playbook, took the People's Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival Sunday. The runner-up was Ben Affleck's Argo.
The David O. Russell film is based on the novel by Matthew Quick and hits theaters Nov. 21.
Cooper stars as Pat, a former mental patient who moves in with his parents while trying to reconcile with his ex-wife. Things get more complicated when he meets Tiffany, played by Lawrence.
Winning the audience award at the fest is considered an early boost for awards-season recognition. Recent Oscar best-picture winners Slumdog Millionaire and The King's Speech both won the Toronto audience award.
