John Mayer to hit stage after surgery

John Mayer is returning to the stage.
Mayer, who took a vow of silence a few weeks ago because of throat surgery in August, will be performing with the Zac Brown Band on Friday and Saturday at the Southern Ground Festival in Nashville.
But don't worry -- the musician is not planning to disrupt the recovery process. He won't be singing.
"John will be performing on guitar only. He is still recovering from the recent procedure on his vocal cords and will be on vocal rest for awhile," says his publicist, Fran DeFeo.
