The Rolling Stones will kick off the U.S. portion of their "50 and Counting'' anniversary celebration in December in Brooklyn, N.Y., instead of Newark, according to a statement released Monday.
The band has added a Dec. 8 date at Brooklyn's new Barclays Center, with tickets going on sale Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. ET (rollingstones.com). Four previously announced shows — Nov. 25 and Nov. 29 in London's O2 Arena and Dec.13 and Dec.15 at Newark's Prudential Center — are sold out.
The Dec. 15 Newark show, titled One More Shot, will be shown live via pay-per-view at 9 p.m. ET.
