OneRepublic, Matchbox Twenty join Super Bowl party

Sometimes, tailgating is just as fun as the Super Bowl itself.
Rock bands OneRepublic and Matchbox Twenty have signed up to perform at the Super Bowl XLVII pregame show in New Orleans on Sunday. Parts of the show will be aired live on CBS' Super Bowl Today. That should give fans ample time to get through at least a case of beer before kickoff.
OneRepublic is best known for its 2007 album, Dreaming Out Loud, featuring hit singles Apologize and Stop and Stare. Matchbox Twenty's fourth album, NORTH, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's album chart. It had the first original material the group has done together in a decade.
Beyoncé will take center stage during Super Bowl's halftime show.
