Comfest has always had a no BYOB policy. It has never been okay to bring beer into Goodale Park. However, this year the organizers have become more assertive about getting the word out this year. Comfest is STILL and always has been a grassroots community activism organization based upon the principles of equality, justice, and working toward the collective good. In fact, Comfest provides grants to community groups such as Columbus AIDS task force, Simply Living / WCRS, and Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed (FLOW).
