Cocktails at the Conservatory
A trip to the Franklin Park Conservatory is a treat no matter what the circumstances are, but if you do end up going, you might as well have a drink in your hand to make the experience all the more enjoyable.
That's the basic idea behind the weekly Cocktails at the Conservatory event. You pay $10 to get in, but then in return you get $10 in food and beverage tokens. And if you're not up for spending at least those $10 in tokens, you might as well stay at home, because the party will be more fun without you.
Although, if you're the driver, you probably won't want to spend much more than $10 in drink tokens, but that's a different story.
The event runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Thursdays, featuring a live DJ, a small plate menu and a cash bar ... plus all the cool stuff the Conservatory features on a regular basis. Like flowers and waterfalls.
Check out all the pictures from the event Aug. 13 to see who was having a good time. Plus, keep your eye out for a few pictures of some other fun things from the evening. Fun things like flowers and waterfalls.
After you're done with these photos, check out photos from other recent Columbus events, like the Columbus Wine Festival (also at the Conservatory) Bike Night at Quaker Steak on Aug. 12, Rascal Flatts at the State Fair and G. Love and Special Sauce at The Basement.
