Dining by Design at Vets Memorial
Dining by Design, a national fundraiser founded in 1984 by the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, kicked off its national tour back in March with a four-day event in New York City. Columbus was the third stop on the tour, hosting the event Oct. 16-17 at Veterans Memorial.
The show is broken up into three events. Cocktails by Design kicked things off with a party Friday night, where the artistic dining installations could be previewed for $75. An open house (sans food) was held Saturday morning ($10), followed by the private gala Saturday night ($10,000 for a 10-seat table).
Renowned designer Doug Wilson, who was an interior designer on Trading Spaces, was one of the guests in attendance.
We were there Friday night for the preview party. Check out who got flashed, then check out some of our other event galleries from places like Mynt and Mozaik Lounge, The Social Room and the Franklin Park Conservatory.
