Park Street Festival
We all know summers in Columbus are short, so it's smart to take advantage of the warm weather while you can. That's one of the reasons the annual Park Street Festival is such a big hit.
Sure, any day of the year you can go check out some of the cool bars on Park Street, but only during this two-day festival can you drink on the street while you're walking from place to place in the Arena District.
The event, which took place June 12-13 this year, is hosted by by six bars in the area—Bar Louie, Park Street Patio, Park Street Tavern, GasWerks, Brothers and Sugar Bar.
A ton of good bands took the stage this year, including Candlebox, Saving Jane, 17th Floor and Lovesick Radio. The festival also included circus performers and a mixture of eclectic food from around the world at the North Market.
Metromix was there for the first day of the festival, catching all the action in case you missed it. Check out all our photos from the event, and then take a look at some of our other recent galleries from around town, including Zombie Walk, the June Gallery Hop, Hell City Festival, O.A.R. at the LC Pavilion, and the Plain White T's at Newport.
