The North Market Food & Ohio Wine Festival, now in its eighth year, features a bevy of Columbus-crafted gastronomic creations from North Market vendors and 18 Ohio wineries.
The wine for the annual festival comes from all across the state, from places like Sandusky, Geneva, Morrow, Wooster and, of course, Columbus. The festival, which takes place over three days this weekend, also features live music from Ohio performers, cooking demonstrations and events for children. The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
A $20 ticket to the opening celebration Friday night covers the cost of admission, a specially designed wine glass, a $5 gift card to North Market and 10 tasting tickets. On Saturday and Sunday, a $5 ticket includes an admission and a wine glass; tasting tickets will be 50 cents apiece.
