Cleve-Lens: Toledo vs. OSU tailgate 2009
September 19, 2009
Columbus isn't the only city in Ohio that loves the Buckeyes. Cleveland is home to thousands of Ohio State fans—including a large number of alumni—which is one of the reasons Jim Tressel and Co. agreed to go up north for a game at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Thankfully, the game against Toledo played out much differently than the game the week before against USC. But the pre-game festivities looked pretty similar. Whether you're partying in Columbus or two hours north on I-71, you can expect to see plenty of people wearing scarlet and grey shirts while grilling out and drinking beer before kickoff.
We stopped by the 2009 First Merit Bowl on W. 6th St. in Cleveland to take in all the excitement. Check out all our photos from the event, then take a look at our tailgating photos from the day of the USC game and the day of the home opener against Navy.
