Tom Mecurio

Probably one of the smartest men in comedy, Paul Mecurio, before hitting in big as satirist, was a lawyer who graduated with honors from Georgetown Law School. Most of his career has been played out on the popular "Daily Show with Jon Stewart," where his writing has won him a couple Emmys and a Peabody Award for Excellence in Broadcasting (think The Pulitzer Prize for Broadcasting). He's also been seen regularly on Comedy Central, "The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." A few major independent film projects are also tucked away on his resume. He'll be gracing the Funny Bone stage Dec. 10-14.
