'Jesus Christ Superstar' returns to C-bus

Seems like Cap City has caught the JCS bug. "Jesus Christ Superstar," the inaugural piece from the legendary Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber collaborations, is on its third run through Columbus in the past year. First CAPA and Broadway Across America brought the production early last year (starring Ted Neeley, who played the title role in the musical's 1973 film remake), then Shadowbox Cabaret recently produced their own special rendition.
Now—again with Ted Neeley in tow—it's back at the Palace Theatre, on the wings of Magic Arts and Entertainment, for a two-show run Feb. 23 and 24. Tickets are $32.50 to $62.50. Call 614-431-3600 or hit up www.ticketmaster.com for more information. Click through the gallery for a sneak peak of the show.
