A Cincinnati native raised in Peaks Hill, Ky., Sparks is mainly known for playing Michael Novotny in the groundbreaking series “Queer as Folk.” Recently he took second place on the VH-1 celeb-reality competition “Celebracadabra” and is now a regular on the network, appearing in the “I Love The '70s,” “’80s,” etc., etc. shows and is a regular on “Best. Week. Ever.” He also fronts the rock trio Zero 1, which released its self-titled debut album last year.
