Stone Temple Pilots at the LC Pavilion
The Stone Temple Pilots have sold more than 40 million records during the past 20 years, so it's safe to say they know a little bit about rock 'n' roll.
After a lengthy separation while lead singer Scott Weiland was with Velvet Revolver, STP got back together last year, starting with a show at the 2008 Rock on the Range festival in Columbus. The group returned to Central Ohio on Oct. 11 for an outdoor show at the LC Pavilion, with the Meat Puppets opening.
It was a little chilly outside, but the music helped warm everyone up—it's not every day you get to see accomplished rockers like Weiland, STP brothers Robert and Dean DeLeo, and Meat Puppets brothers Curt and Cris Kirkwood all on the same stage.
