Girl Talk at OWU SpringFest
The last time mashup artist Girl Talk was in town, he sold out back-to-back shows at Newport Music Hall. So it's no surprise his concert April 24 in Delaware was packed.
Girl Talk (real name Gregg Gillis) was the headliner at SpringFest for Ohio Wesleyan University. Layering popular rock and rap songs on top of each other to form his own creations, Girl Talk is one of the more unique—and entertaining—acts touring right now.
As usual, he had the crowd in a frenzy, with confetti, toilet-paper guns and someone in a huge, furry (bear?) costume adding to the ambiance. Gregg even got into the crowd-surfing action during the set, diving out on top of the sea of hands for a little bit.
Check out all our photos from the event, and if you still want more, take a look at Girl Talk's show at Newport in January.
