Jack's Mannequin at the LC Pavilion
Jack's Mannequin was the headliner April 14 at the LC Pavilion, playing in front of a packed house. Lead singer Andrew McMahon talked a little about spending three years growing up in Bexley, and he occasionally jumped up on his piano to belt out a few lyrics, but for the most part he stayed on his piano bench and concentrated on his music. He closed the night with a rousing rendition of "La La Lie," which had the crowd singing along.
The opener was California band Low vs. Diamond, who closed with their new single, "Don't Forget Sister." The middle act was Matt Nathanson, who performed a cover of Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl." He also had the crowd singing along during his popular song "Come on Get Higher."
