Rock on the Range 2009: Day One photos
The biggest hard rock music festival in the country takes place in Columbus, and a little rain Saturday wasn't going to stop thousands of music lovers from across the Midwest from taking in some of the biggest, loudest bands out there.
Rock on the Range 2009 kicked off May 16 at Crew Stadium with a headlining performance by the masked men of metal, Slipknot. But groups like Korn, Chevelle, Static X and Atreyu made sure the whole day of music was worth the price of admission.
Check out all our photos from Day One of the event, then check out our photos from Day Two, featuring bands like Blue October, Saving Abel and Buckcherry.
After you're done with those, check out some of our other recent concert galleries, featuring bands like The Killers, The All-American Rejects, Forever the Sickest Kids and The Black Keys.
