Shinedown plays benefit show in Newark
Shinedown has sold more than 6 million records so far, but on April 24, the rock group was looking to raise money for some wallets other than their own. The chart-topping band from Jacksonville, Fla., came to Newark for a special benefit concert in conjunction with radio station WNCI.
Several local groups took the stage early in the evening, but Shinedown was the obvious main attraction. The band, whose hit singles include "Second Chance" and "45," played to a packed crowd behind the Grill on Twenty-First.
Take a look at all our photos from the event. We took some pictures of Shinedown, the opening bands and the crowd. And if you went to the event, let us know what you thought about it by leaving a comment below.
