The Basement, managed by PromoWest Productions, is Columbus’ home to the indie music scene. Located right next to PromoWest’s Lifestyle Communities Pavilion on Neil Avenue, the interior sports a long, slightly narrow corridor packing fans of various indie artists into a mosh-like arrangement beneath the stage. A fully stocked bar also helps feed the madness, while sofas line the wall opposite the bar, and a pool table sits at the back. If you’re looking for something a little more loungey, head upstairs to the equally popular House of Crave, also run by PromoWest.
