A dear friend offered to take me to dinner to celebrate my birthday at Sage. It was a wonderful evening complete with white bean & black truffle hummus, a lovely selection of cheese, scallops to die for and perfectly prepared pork chop. The deserts were fantastic and the out of the ordinary cocktails delicious. Strawberry, basil gimlet, white grape martini and blueberry lemonade - all just perfect (it was my birthday...). The service was top notch and the atmosphere ideal to catch up with an old friend.
