Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream is one of the best places in the country to get the frozen treat. We're not the only ones who think so. The New York Times also has recognized Jeni's as one of the top ice cream joints in the country.

The small shop prides itself on homemade ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbets.

Founded by Jeni Britton and Charly Bauer in 2002, the brightly lit parlor specializes in constructing its unique concoctions by hand in small doses to add that extra layer of flavor.

First just an elusive confection in the North Market, Jeni’s Ice Cream has expanded to locations in Grandview, the Short North and Bexley.
