Jeni’s is best known for its many exciting and unique flavors—including Salty Caramel, made with a traditional French-style caramel, with caramelized sugars, butter and sea salt. There’s also the Queen City Cayenne, which includes condensed milk chocolate—made Cincinnati-style—with cayenne and cinnamon, and the Thai Chili, made with peanut butter by the Columbus-based Krema, toasted coconut, cayenne and coconut milk.
It’s those mouth-watering descriptions, however, that’ll getcha. The latest creation, the Cherry Lambic sorbet, which is the 2008 Gallo Family Vineyards gold medal winner, is described as “crafted from tart red cherries, Lindeman’s Kriek Lambic Sorbet (a dry spontaneously fermented beer from Brussels) and just a bit of sugar. The sorbet has the tart bright flavor of red cherries (the kind that grow on the backyard trees). Not too sweet!”
Is your mouth watering yet? Ours sure are.
