Ahhh, the food. The juicy, joyous food.

Thurman’s is known for its hamburgers, but everything is solid, from pizza to subs to wings. And the fries and onion rings are quite good, as well.

But it’s those burgers that make this place special. The most massive is the Thurmanator, originally created for body builders passing through town for the Arnold Sports Expo. The burger includes two ¾-pound beef patties, along with ham, bacon, cheese, pickles, banana peppers, mushrooms and onions. It’s quite possibly the biggest burger you’ll ever see.

But the real staple is the Thurman Burger, which is one ¾-pound patty overloaded with ham, mozzarella, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, onions, pickles, peppers. and mayo. You have to try it during one of your first visits.

Other favorites include the A-1 Burger, the Pizza Burger and the Hot & Spicy Salsa Burger.
