Known as The Dube to those in the know, the Blue Danube is a campus favorite that's been around forever — and the ceiling tiles testify to that. Some new and some yellowed with age, the Dube's tiles are individually decorated by different local artists (if you pester a server, you can find out how you can get in on the action). Dark and dingy with mirrored walls and notorious for its lousy service and greasy food, The Dube has an offbeat charm that appeals to a diverse crowd, from brooding intellectuals to drunken frat boys. The bar is large enough to seat a handful of people, and the dining area affords plenty of space for large groups of friends meeting for a bite and a beer. The menu is extensive, with Italian, Greek and American offerings, and even a few French selections (i.e. grilled cheese). It also has breakfast anytime!
