Mellow Mushroom
Mellow Mushroom, a fun, colorful pizza place on Polaris Parkway, features some trippy decorations, a ton of flat-screen TVs, a massive bar and an even more massive mushroom statue in the middle of the dining room, making this one of the most interesting places you’ll ever throw down a few slices.
If you’re feeling like you want a little something different on your pie, the Mushroom has you covered. You could try the Caesar! Caesar!, which basically combines a chicken Caesar salad with a pizza. It includes a olive oil and garlic base with pesto chicken, provolone, mozzarella and feta cheeses, topped with a fresh Caesar salad and roma tomatoes. It’s good.
Or you can try the Philosopher’s Pie—steak, portobello mushroom cap, artichoke hearts, olives and three types of cheese on a oil and garlic base.
