First look: Mellow Mushroom
There’s a new pizza joint in town, and as this giant mural on its wall indicates, this place is about a whole lot more than just food.
Mellow Mushroom, which opened Feb. 16 at 2170 Polaris Pkwy., combines some trippy decorations, a ton of flat-screen TVs, a massive bar and an even more massive mushroom statue to make it one of the most interesting places you’ll throw down a few slices.
But don’t let all the attention paid to decorating lead you to believe Mellow Mushroom doesn’t deliver the goods when it comes to dinner. The restaurant’s food is more than up to par, making this new place one you’ll want to check out.
