Mitchell's Steakhouse
1408 Polaris Pkwy - ColumbusMichell's might just serve up the best filet mignon in the city, to go along with a wine list numbering more than 200. It brings the New York dining experience to its two locations around town (one downtown, one at Polaris), but it is a bit pricey.
J. Gilbert's

Specializing in steaks and seafood prepared on an open wood-fired grill, J.Gilbert's takes its western roots seriously. And although the menu has some pricey items like steak and lobster, you can save money by hitting up happy hour from 4 p.m.to 7 p.m. Sunday through Friday. Each day has a different special, but they all feature $5.95 appetizers and $1 off selected drinks.
The Hickory House
