OK, so here’s the skinny on Mitchell’s. If you’re looking for the perfect New York strip sirloin made with Japanese Kobe beef aged to sperfection, this is definitely your place; but in the end, you’re going to pay for it. The aforementioned dish runs for $110--and that’s the smaller, six-ounce serving. In Columbus, if you’re talking about fine dining, a mention of Mitchell’s Steakhouse isn’t far behind. The restaurant probably serves up the best filet mignon in the city with a wine list numbering more than 200. It ultimately brings the New York dining experience to its three locations--Downtown, Worthington and Polaris--but, again, it comes with the New York price.
