Johnson's is the home of the ice cream buckeye, a homemade lump of peanut butter ice cream dipped in chocolate. The ice cream shop, which opened for business in 1950, sells 50 flavors of hand-packed ice cream, and it serves fresh fruit sorbets as well as homemade pies and cookies. You can grab a meatball sub, ham salad sandwiche, chili dog or one of several dozen other sandwiches, soups, and salads. And there's always a special ice cream flavor of the month. (Maybe some month they'll have Metromix.com Beer-Flavored Ice Cream).
